Pinterest is essentially the crazy cat lady of social media platforms. It markets toward women and uses a method of board-building for users to share photos and articles they find interesting to share with others. And even this hobbyist app isn’t safe for conservatives.

A user sent me the following photo after trying to share an American Thinker link on her Pinterest profile:

American Thinker is no fringe site, either. It’s the oldest conservative internet publication and recent Alexa rankings from December 2nd shows AT is the fifth most popular conservative website, just ahead of the domain. We have reached out to Pinterest about their censorship of American Thinker and to find out if they practice this against other political sites as well but have not been provided a statement.
